Summary
I was a game designer on a 7 people team for this student project that we worked on for 3 months along with our courses.
During the project, I was responsible for:
- Designing core mechanics and systems
- Designing and tweaking 3Cs.
- Level design blockouts and iteration for level 2 and 3 in Unity.
- Balancing items, levels and enemies using regular playtests
- Designing and implementing tutorial levels

Post-mortem
We wanted to transform a simple concept with a strong appeal: "clumsy animal firefighters put down flames in chaotic multiplayer", into a well-made product showing our skills, and I think we succeeded!
We won several awards with this game: Best Student game at BostonFIG, Student Game Finalist at BIG Festival, Finalist at The Rookies and Best Concept at a local fest.
This project taught me how to iterate quickly, how to consolidate and follow through a creative vision and how to create polished experiences.
